I'm Matthew Comber. I'm an Englishman in Finland, and a Business English coach with 25+ years of professional experience in construction design & management, building science, consulting and entrepreneurship.
I've worked with leaders and specialists across a wide range of industries, including construction, engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, technology, law, government and finance.
My clients have specialist expertise. I help them communicate that expertise effectively in English.

I’m an Englishman who speaks clear, easy to understand English. I'm a friendly, experienced, easy-to-work-with communication coach, fully focussed on helping my clients identify and fix their English communication pain points. I get a buzz from getting to know my clients, learning about their work and working together to help them feel more relaxed and confident speaking Business English to international clients and colleagues.
Although I am British, Finland is home. I've lived in Finland for many years and I enjoy being here very much. I'm married to a Finn and have raised three children in this beautiful country. I speak (some) Finnish and am very familiar with Finnish culture and the way of life. I also like English football, Finnish jazz and Karelian pies.
