Who do I help?
I work with clients from any profession and any type of business. I have helped people working in law, finance, the car industry, software development, food production, engineering, construction, accounting, technology, tourism, hospitality, cinema, police, sales and manufacturing. My clients are often CEOs, founders, senior executives, business owners, experienced professionals and experts in their field.
I greatly enjoy working with every client. It's a pleasure to help them speak confidently about their work.
Experience
I have a Bachelor of Science degree and am a TEFL-certified teacher of General English and Business English. I have 25 years of professional experience. In the UK I worked as a construction project manager and property consultant. In Finland, I have been an entrepreneur and business owner. My life experience in different managerial, professional and entrepreneurial roles is extremely helpful to me now as a Business English coach. It helps me to understand my clients' work, which means I can more easily help people discover and practise the English they need to express themselves with confidence.

I’m an Englishman who speaks clear, easy to understand English. I'm a friendly, creative and versatile language coach. I get a buzz from getting to know my clients, learning all about their work and working together to help them feel more relaxed and confident when speaking English to their international clients and colleagues.

Although I am British, Finland is home. I've lived in Finland for many years and I enjoy being here very much. I'm married to a Finn and have raised three children in this beautiful country. I speak (some) Finnish and am very familiar with Finnish culture and the way of life. I also like English football, Finnish jazz and Karelian pies.
